Does this thing kill the covid virus?
It hasn’t been specifically tested against the SARS-COV-2 per se, but it has been tested to kill 99.9% of bacteria and dust mites. Philips tells me that it has been tested by external body for bacteria types Escherichia coli 8099, Staphylicoccus aureus ATCC 6538, Candidia albicans ATCC 10231 with 1 minute steaming time.
