EZ-Link unveils first non-card stored value cashless device in the form of Hello Kitty trinkets (S$24.90). The Singapore company also launched the new EZ-Link Rewards Scheme with Perx.
EZ-Link Pte Ltd is Singapore’s largest issuer of CEPAS-compliant cards.
The new EZ-Charms break away from the conventional ez-link card design, while the EZ-Link Rewards Scheme with Perx is the first rewards programme for commuters using public transport with the ez-link card.
EZ-Charms – New Form Factor
“Our aim is to push through boundaries to make every tap with ez-link a rewarding and fun experience. The launch of EZ-Charms is significant as it represents a breakthrough in technical limitations and opens up many new possibilities for fashionable products in the future. On the other hand, with the new EZ-Link Rewards Scheme with Perx, ez-link users will be rewarded for something they do every day – taking trains and buses,” said Nicholas Lee, Chief Executive Officer, EZ-Link Pte Ltd.
Functioning in exactly the same way as existing ez-link cards, EZ-Charms can be used on buses, trains, taxis, for shopping and dining and topped up at all ez-link card channels.
The first EZ-Charm design features Hello Kitty, the iconic feline character, to give users a lovely, fun and stylish piece of ornament to hang off their mobile phones and key chains etc.
Measuring 3.3cm by 2.5cm by 0.5cm, each EZ-Charm is sold in an attractive packaging, making it an adorable gift for loved ones – especially Hello Kitty fans.
All EZ-Charms are sold without stored value and are valid for two years.

Participating merchants offer products and services in e-commerce, food & beverage, fashion, limousine taxi services, beauty & wellness and lifestyle across the island.
