Sony PlayStation Vita price cut to S$299 in Singapore from Friday

From 23 August (Friday), the retail price of the PlayStation Vita system will be reduced to S$299. This is a substantial reduction from the current prices for both the Wi-Fi model (S$399) and the 3G/Wi-Fi model (S$469).

Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong Limited has also reduced the prices of the PS Vita memory cards.

The PS Vita comes with physical controls, high-performance CPU / GPU, and 5-inch OLED touchscreen.

There are currently more than 650 games available on PSN as well as the PlayStationPlus membership program that offers many free games, PlayStationStore discounts, exclusive contents and features.

Looking ahead, PS Vita will be a companion device to the PlayStation 4 (PS4) system when the entertainment system launches in future through key features like “Remote Play.”

This innovative feature allows many PS4 games to be instantly playable on PS Vita anywhere within a Wi-Fi network, wrapping gamers in their favorite content wherever they are on PS Vita’s vibrant 5-inch screen.
