How does the Oppo Find N3 compare with the OnePlus Open that was also launched today?
Both Oppo and OnePlus belong to the same company. Peter Lee, Head of Find Product Line at Oppo tells me that the Oppo Find N3 and the OnePlus Open are actually the same phablet, but branded differently, depending on the market. The foldable represents the strengths of both brands, with Oppo driving the camera and OnePlus driving the software development for the foldable.
Oh ok, thanks!
How many years of usage does the rated folds of 1 million translate to?
Arne Herkelmann, Head of Product Management at Oppo estimates that the average user folds/unfolds the phone about 100-150 times each day. So the rated fold tolerance of 1 million for Find N3 and 600k for Find N3 Flip translate to more than 10 years of usability.
Wow that’s reassuring, I was under the impression that they could only last at most two years!
