Huawei is launching in Singapore the WATCH Buds (S$698) – a 2-in-1 smartwatch cum TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Bluetooth earbuds. It is also releasing its FreeBuds 5 earbuds (S$198). Both will hit the shelves in Singapore on 1 May 2023. Promotions below.

The Huawei WATCH Buds is basically a smartwatch that doubles up as a earbuds case, so that you don’t have to carry an earbud case separately, and you’ll always have the earbuds at hand – assuming that you wear your smartwatch all the time.
Purchase & Promotions
Both the WATCH Buds (S$698) and FreeBuds 5 (S$198) will be available on 1 May 2023 from Huawei Experience Stores in Singapore as well as Huawei’s official stores on Lazada* and Shopee.

Do the earbuds add to the weight on your wrist?
Only very little – since the earbuds are tiny and weigh only 4g each.
So the additional weight that stowing the earbuds into the watch comprises that and whatever hardware was added to charge the earbuds, and to swivel open the watch face to access the earbuds.
The identical earbuds include active noise canceling and features adaptive identification technology which figures out which earbuds are put into which ear so that YOU don’t have to keep track of which is the left bud and which is the right bud.
The Huawei FreeBuds 5 departs from the standard straight-stem airpod design and comes in a shapely and curvy design.
The droplet-shape is designed for better fit and to provide a larger contact area between the earbuds and the ears, in order to reduce strain and to provide a breathable wearing experience.
