Dell’s new portfolio promises more productivity in smaller and thinner devices.
These include the OptiPlex Micro PCs (fr S$419 – now), Latitude 3000 Series (fr S$779 – now) ,Latitude 5000 Series (fr S$1,119 – Sep 26), Latitude 13 7000 Series 2-in-1 (fr S$1,719 – Oct), Latitude 14 Rugged laptop, and Dell UltraSharp 27 Ultra HD 5K monitor (Q4, 2014).

Dell offers encryption, authentication and malware prevention from a single source via its Dell Data Protection portfolio.
Dell has buillt management capabilities into its Latitude and OptiPlex portfolio to help users maximise their hardware investment and the all-new Dell Client Command Suite offers free automation tools to help significantly reduce time spent on deploying, monitoring and updating systems.
To help ensure outstanding reliability, each Latitude and OptiPlex system undergoes rigorous accelerated life cycle and torture tests for extreme heat, hinge endurance and twists.
Dell uses aluminum chassis and LCD display backs, and touch screens are clad with Corning Gorilla Glass for up to 10x scratch resistance over soda lime glass used in most other laptops.

Also introduced is Dell KACE K1000 Express, a free, easy-to-use IT inventory solution exclusive to Dell customers that manages warranty status, BIOS and driver updates across a company’s Dell devices.
With K1000 Express, customers gain a holistic view of their hardware and software assets, encompassing tablets, desktops and servers.
Dell also offers its enterprise-class Dell ProSupport.
Latitude laptop workhorses
Dell’s new additions to the Latitude family of commercial PCs offer a variety of work styles and use cases—from the executive road warrior to the rough and tumble demands of workers in the field.

This “laptop-first” 2-in-1 offers a large 13.3-inch display and a professional, ISO-certified backlit keyboard, bolstered by the convenience of Instant Go from sleep mode, a feature often reserved for smart phones and traditional tablets.
When paired with the Dell Mobile Office, a suite of accessories specifically designed for this device—a carrying case, sleeve, power companion and universal dongle—the Latitude 13 7000 Series 2-in-1 detachable laptop offers ultra-mobile professionals a first-class productivity experience.
According to a preview from Dell’s latest Evolving Workforce Study, flexibility and the ability to work anywhere continues to demonstrate considerable benefits for overall health and well-being than working from the office.
