Canon EOS 70D DSLR to be available in Singapore tomorrow

First announced on 1 July, Canon’s latest DSLR – the EOS 70D – will be available (S$1,499 for body only) at Canon authorised dealers on Friday 23 August 2013.

Canon EOS 70D is embedded with a powerful DIGIC 5+ image processor and a 20.2-megapixel APS-C sized CMOS sensor.

The following are the recommended retail prices:

  • Body only: S$1,499
  • Kit I (EF S18-55 IS STM): $1,699
  • Kit II (EF S18-135 IS STM): $2,049
  • Kit III (EF S18-200 IS): $2,149

The Canon EOS 70D is the first model in the EOS series to feature the new Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology, a phase-difference autofocus (AF) technology.

It promises approximately 30% faster focusing speeds and improved Movie Servo AF tracking during Live View shooting.
