Zalora launches flagship pop-up store at ION Orchard in Singapore

Zalora has launched its flagship digital interactive pop-up store at ION Orchard, extending its online fashion retail business offline into a traditional retail showroom, with a digital in-store experience.

The ZALORA Shop @ ION Orchard is located at #B2-04/05 and operates from 10 am to 10 pm daily till the end of January 2015.

The ZALORA Shop @ ION brings the online retailer to life by allowing customers to touch, feel and try on a carefully curated selection of exclusive brands.

They can choose from in-house label ZALORA, as well as global brands including River Island, Material Girl, Lola Skye, H.E. by Mango and Burton Menswear.

With an entirely new click-and-mortar concept, The ZALORA Shop creates a seamless shopping experience through multiple touch points in a stylized and modern retail environment.

How it works:

  1. Specially curated products are displayed in-store and customers can pick out the items they want to try on.
  2. “Samsung is delighted to be the technology partner for ZALORA. With the GALAXY ALPHA 4G+, the functional beauty perfect for stylish fashionistas, shopping is now even more enjoyable for ZALORA customers,” said Eugene Goh, Vice President, IT & Mobile, Samsung Electronics Singapore.To enhance the customer experience, the shop is equipped with the GALAXY ALPHA 4G+ and GALAXY Tab S (10.5”) provided by technology partner Samsung. Free WiFi is also available so customers can browse lookbooks for styling tips on how to mix and match pieces.
  3. Once they decide which item/s to purchase, they can scan the barcode and then proceed to the self-serve express checkout counters to process their purchases.

Raoul showcases Fall Winter 2014 collection with iQNECT app

Raoul offers an interactive shopping experience of its latest Fall Winter 2014 collection through the launch of its collaboration with iQNECT, with promotions below.

All shoppers need to do is to download the IQNect app and visit Raoul (located at #02-49 Paragon), snap pictures of selected Raoul looks and be taken on a virtual journey to New York Fashion Week and this season’s Lookbook.

Through the iQNECT app, Raoul is transporting shoppers from its boutique in Singapore to the heart of New York Fashion Week through rich branded content and information on their mobile devices.

The Raoul FW14 collection pays homage to Wiener Werkstatte – a progressive alliance of artists and designers founded in 1897.

Some of the more conscious and graphic approaches to the design ideals of this movement inspired the strict black and ivory diamond-shaped graphics in linear silhouettes along with the overblown flower motifs.

A strong sense of style and the gut to make Bold fashion statements with their products, which is why both enjoy a growing following among the young and trendy in the region. And BBM is the buzzword that keeps them connected.

BlackBerry and ZALORA co-hosted a stylish event in Singapore to put forth a fashion show showcasing a unique set of looks developed by leading online fashion bloggers and inspired by BlackBerry’s Bold line of smartphones.

“The individual styles inspired by the BlackBerry Bold portfolio truly showcase the diversity of the many collections on ZALORA,” said Terence Pang, Head of Marketing for ZALORA Singapore.

I popped in at the event (at 72-13 Mohammed Sultan Road) in the evening and the turnout was fantastic, thronging with both BlackBerry and ZALORA fans.

Everybody had a great laugh with local stand-up comedian Kumar’s act.

The fashion show was refreshing because the eight female and male models were not pros but lucky winners who had been chosen from an online contest earlier, based on the best poses that they had sent in.

They received their very own photo-shoot, makeover and runway tips from Miss Singapore Universe 2011, Ms Valerie Lim, who also choreographed the Fashionably Bold show.
