StarHub supports Singapore’s Smart Nation vision with the new 58,000 sq ft Hubtricity (创星之城) in within STT MediaHub in one-north. It went fully operational in December 2016.
The new facility acts as a foundation to accelerate service innovation and co-creation with partners and customers.
In so doing, StarHub hopes to transform Singapore into a vibrant and connected Smart Nation, enhancing people’s everyday lives, strengthening enterprise capabilities and deepening Singapore’s international connectivity.
Hubtricity serves as the converged command cockpit, where StarHub can monitor how its fixed, mobile and pay TV networks and services are performing and understand how customers are using and responding to its service offerings through call-centre metrics and social media analytics.
Itt will provide StarHub with the real-time data needed to ensure the highest service level to its customers.
As a home-grown company, StarHub supports the nurturing of local talent and is keen to help drive the local tech start-up ecosystem.
Hubtricity aims to bring local technopreneurs together, who can create ideas and test out their solutions, catalysing greater collaboration and innovation from Singapore.
Minister for Communications and Information, Dr Yaacob Ibrahim, graced the opening of Hubtricity as Guest-of-Honour and explored the showcased innovations relevant to the future of info-communications.
The event was attended by more than 150 guests.
